One of the topics I’ve been covering in recent months is how to increase your blog conversions.
Afterall, blogging is a GREAT way to brand yourself. If you’re putting out great content and value, it’ really pretty easy to generate leads just on content alone.
(And yes…you still need a lead capture form somewhere on your blog. Maybe even a pop-over form)
Now, I’ve talked in great lengths in the past on how easy it really is to get traffic to your blog, so today I’m going to give you some more tips on ways to get that traffic to convert more.
#1 – First and Foremost
Create good content, provide value, and give others a reason to read your blog in the first place.
No value = no visitors. Plain and simple.
It amazes me the people that STILL don’t get this #1 factor!
The main reason I include this is because it will get people coming back to your site.
When you provide quality to your feed subscribers, the more they come back, and the more they come back, the greater your chance that they opt-in to a lead capture form.
#3 – Include A Free Course
The sooner you get a free course on your site that is simple CHUCK-FULL of value, the sooner you’re going to have leads coming in to register for it.
Look at mine on the right of this page here.
It’s simply a 7 day training course on creating traffic and converting that traffic into leads.
There is a graphic and right above it is a video.
#4 – The Video
The reason for the video is 2 prong.
Video introduction welcoming your traffic to your site. (I would NOT recommend setting it on autoplay). Watch my video for an example of what to say.
The video will also introduce them to your free course. So make sure that you put the video near the free offer to that you can point it out and they don’t have to go looking for it.
#5 – Keep People On Your Blog
The longer that eyes are on your site, the more likely they are to find something they like.
When they find something they like, they act. And in this case, they act by opt-ing in to a course you’re offering.
It’s simply human psychology.
The key then becomes ways to keep people’s eyes on your blog.
Here are some plug-ins that you can use to keep peoples eyes on your blog:
Comment Redirect - This plugin sends people to a thank you page after they leave you a comment. You can ask them to subscribe to your free offer when they get to the re-direct.
Related Posts – At the end of each blog post, this plug-in will add a list of related posts that are similar to the post you just created. If the post you just wrote was attractive enough, they will be attracted to the related posts at the bottom. (if you’re look at the bottom of this post, you’ll see what I’m talking about).
WP Thread Comment – My blog theme DOES NOT like the Disqus plugin. So I was forced to find a different option. And honestly, I PREFER this one to Disqus. It creates a thread of comments that LOOKS a lot more attractive.
Fast and Secure Contact Form – This is a cool little plugin that allows people to contact you directly. If you don’t make it obvious for people on how to seek you out, they won’t go looking. And you NEVER KNOW what they may want to contact you about.
Popularity Contest – This is exactly like it says. It creates a widget on your blog that shows the most popular posts. People are inherently drawn to popularity and will want to read more. This means they’re staying longer on your site.
So folks, there you have it, the best ways to Increase Your Blog Conversions by keeping their eyes on your site as long as possible.

Have you ever thought about how to generate leads from webinars?
Believe it or not, webinars are a great money making opportunity!
It’s just that there aren’t a lot of people using it, so now is the time to take advantage of some free training.
Here’s How You Do It:
**Disclaimer: This method will NOT work if you are doing a mastermind webinar with a group of people. It is too hard to add in your own affiliate links for each individual person. So I do not recommend that you present links unless there is a way to benefit the ENTIRE group (i.e. – a group marketing product that you have created).
The methods I’m going to talk about below are only if you’re doing the webinar by yourself.
Also, I prefer to use GoToWebinars for my webinars. What I describe below is in the GoToWebinar format.
1. Catchy Title
Use something as simple as “Linus Ruzicka LIVE Q&A -Plus a Bonus “Open Immediately”
Make sure to put the “Bonus” in the message.
If you have other Copywriting skills, feel free to use them here too.
2. Put The Bonus In The Message
When creating the body of your message, make sure to put the link to whatever your free “Bonus” is inside the body.
It could be an e-book, video bootcamp, free coaching session, etc.
Whatever it is, just make sure that it’s valuable and you label it as the “bonus.”
This is the leverage piece you use to get the people to open your message PLUS, you’re giving them something of quality and value for free.
Also, in the signature of the message, this is where you place your first affiliate link that you want someone to visit.
3. “Where To Send Attendees”
If you are sending people to an affiliate link , here is the second spot where you place the affiliate link.
When setting up the webinar, it gives you an option of where to send the people to after you register.
Simply place your affiliate link in here, and after they register for the webinar, they will be redirected to your site.
4. Reminder Messages
When you set up a webinar, you can set reminders for your attendees.
Under the “Change Settings” section that you see after you set-up the webinar:
Select “E-mail notifications” in the drop down menu:
Here you can customize the “confirmation email.”
You can also send reminder e-mails to registrants and invitee’s. Make sure that you set up all three to be sent at “1 day” “2 hours” and “1 hours”
Then personalize the reminder message to include your affiliate link
5. The Webinar Itself
Since you are actually doing a webinar, a smart idea is to connect the topic of your webinar to your affiliate links.
For example, if you’re doing a webinar about qualifying your prospects make your content about that, then consider putting in your links to “Black Belt Recruiting” from Mike Dillard at the end of the webinar.
Also, then at the very end of the webinar, mention where you learned your skills in how to qualify your prospects and give them your affiliate link to Black Belt Recruiting.
6. “Follow-up messages” To Attendees
In the same drop down section, you can customize the follow up message that is sent to attendees that were on the webinar.
Set your affiliate link inside the message and schedule it to go out 1 hour after the webinar.
7.”Follow-up messages” to No-Shows
You can personalize a message that is sent to the folks that registered, but didn’t attend your webinar.
Again, customize the message to include your affiliate link and have it scheduled to be sent out 1 hour after the end of the webinar.
Make sure to “Save Changes” at the bottom and you’ve now monetized your webinars!
Advice: For the first few webinars that you do, you may want to warm them up to what you’re doing to get them used to seeing your affiliate links, so consider posting your affiliate links in only a few spots.
So there you have it – this is how you monetize and geerate leads from your webinars.

The day started off with Jairek Robbins, award winning performance coach.
He discussed personal break throughs with personal development, personal growth, and intelligence. And then led us on a path of figuring out where we are now with our physical body, wealth, and spirit.
Ferny and Ray couldn’t have picked a better person to start the morning off. I’ll explain more later on, but you have to realize that because of what Jairek said to me during his breakout session, my life and my business has taken a leap that I was never sure would actually come. Next up was Norbert, co-owner and creator of My Lead System Pro.
He discussed leadership and communication being the foundation of your business.
If anyone knows leadership and how to communicate, it’s Norbert. I know this because not only is he a good friend of mine, but one of my closest mentors.

Brian, co-creator and founder of My Lead System Pro, took the stage next and discussed systems – go figure!
He talked about how to use a sales funnel system and gave away one of his top secret strategies of how to generate leads from webinars.
Oh, he also mentioned some passing little fad known as Facebook PPC. Just kidding Brian!

I can see why Mike is such an awesome person!

Man…I’d hate to follow Mike Dillard, but that’s exactly what Todd had to do.

I’ve gotten to network with people that are already 7 figure earners, because I chose to come to this event. How powerful is that for branding?
And out of all of the people I’ve networked with, who knows which connection today will lead to a future partnership that has the potential to lead to hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars.
And believe me when I say this…I have already made 2 million dollar connections here in Vegas that have the potential to entirely change the face of how my marketing is done today.
So do you think that it’s possible that if you were here as well, that you might be able to network, build some new relationships, and strike out into a new territory that you have only dreamed of in the past?
That is why live events are so important! But…
…I’ll be honest. Not up until early this year, had I looked at the importance of live events, and training, and increasing my own value.
I didn’t realize that at all until just right before the New Year 2010.
It was then that I made a commitment to change not only my life, but the life of others as well.
And the easiest way to do that is to learn, train, soak in information, and network with people so that I can increase my own value to turn and give it to others.
And what a potential wealth earning decision it was!
Anyways, enough about that.
